If you really want to do it step-by-step:

Episode 2 coming... soonish

Due to technical problems (read: I learnt the hard way how to adjust input volume controls correctly) and the fact that I will have a very busy day today, the second episode will not be able to be posted until sometime later today. Probably much later.

In the meantime, here are a few notices that we had intended to include on the podcast, but completely missed due to lack of time/ineptness of program controller/sheer forgetfulness (pick at least one).

These notices are highlighted because they refer to future events or just things we thought PPS listeners should know about:

If you downloaded the PPS Review podcast...

...can you please answer the poll to the right? I can't tell whether anyone downloaded the large, stereo version and I'm tempted to just offer the mono version since it's half the size straight off. Thanks!

Want to subscribe to the PPS Review Podcast via iTunes?

Somebody emailed us asking the following.
Hi guys, good effort on putting out the pps review podcast. I have a small problem subscribe this podcast using ITunes. I use this url "http://feeds.feedburner.com/PPSReview" is this correct?
The answer to this question is in two parts:
  1. Yes, http://feeds.feedburner.com/PPSReview is the correct feed to use at the moment to subscribe to the podcast.
  2. To subscribe to this podcast using iTunes either drag its URL into your podcasts library, or type the URL into Subscribe to Podcast under the Advanced menu.

I also tried to get the podcast into the official iTunes directory, but no luck - you need to be a member of the Apple website to do so, and only people with credit cards with mailing addresses from the US, most of Europe, Singapore and Australia can be members. Strange, but true.

Project Petaling Street Review - Podcast Episode 1

You can now download this episode directly (8.85MB). There is a (very slightly) better sounding version in stereo available here (17.7MB).

This is the first in (hopefully) a series of podcasts that focus on blogs that have pinged Project Petaling Street. Truth is, I've long wanted to do a review, simply because so many blogs ping PPS and because they disappear so quickly and it's a shame. It'd be nice to share the ones that catch my eye. Or make me laugh out loud. Or get me angry.

Here are some links on what we discussed in this episode. Enjoy.
